Our Ugandan friend

Jenny visited Kasese district in Uganda in July 2004. In January 2005, we missed a Sunday service at church, and in the evening received an email from Richard the church minister to say that a man called David from Uganda had come along to the service, and that he would be coming along to the music group session on the Monday evening to play djembe.

How great, we thought, that someone from Uganda had visited our small church in an undramatic and out-of-the-way Cotswold village.

It was a bit greater then we even thought at the time.
